Tu and Brother must cook up an innovative dish that highlights the flavors of unconventional parts of trees- something Colorado has tons of!


This isn't the hardest challenge for either chef, and they are both very good chefs when they can cook their own food! This is going to be a tough one for Tom I think...

(I guess Jennifer, Marcell and Kwame are no longer needed in the peanut gallery?)

The Verdict: They both did great- Tu made a Chicken Curry with Curry Leaves, Bay Leaves and Kaffir Lime Leaves. Tom wished the chicken skin was a bit more crispy- bummer Tu couldn't find the plastic wrap to execute the dish like he planned. Brother made a Pork Chop with Avocado Leaf Ash, Guajillo Chilis, Lime & JalapeƱo Syrup, Charred Pineapple and Mango, but he didn't focus on all the components equally.

Brother moves forward, but only after some shady behavior hiding the plastic wrap from Tu...
